Started off today with tracking my calories. Discovered that my harmless looking sandwich breakfast is actually 700ish calories.
Did the same for lunch, but by dinner fell off the tracking wagon, because I ate some ready food from a local shop and I couldn’t find calorie info.
Still, proud that I tried. Hope to get better tomorrow and am happy that I am now better informed about my breakfast.
Today was a somewhat busy day at work with a lot of stressful conversations so I found it difficult to find time to work out and do learning stuff.
Managed to find time for a half hour bicycle ride, SwiftUI learning thanks to codecademy and a meditation with journaling in the bath.
It really is eye-opening how much I am capable of when properly motivated and focused on ticking off these little checkboxes.
I really want them more in my face though, rather than hidden away in the notes app.
Can’t wait till I have my app working with the goals always visible as widgets on my home screens.
On the subject of motivation. I was sure I wanted the a7c ii, but the more research I do, the more I feel like I actually want the a6700. Full frame sounds cool, but I have several apsc lenses that I absolutely love.
There is also another lens that I want to buy which is apsc and it sounds incredible for the kind of photography I love.
It would absolutely suck having to sell the lenses and buy new ones for the full frame camera.
Sounds like the two cameras are near identical (for my use cases) and the only thing that still had me ton the fence was that the a7c ii might have better autofocus, however it seems like they are the same engine.
So with that in mind, I couldn’t decide and ended up doing a coin flip.
A6700 was tails and that’s what fell, so no more indecision.
Maybe I will buy a full frame one day, but for now, it seems I’m staying in the apsc world.
